As we continue to endure the bitter cold this winter, we can remind ourselves that warmer days are ahead and work on our spring garden plans. Each day growing longer reminds us that spring is coming, and we will soon be back in garden enjoying warmth, greenery, and bird song. If adding new trees and shrubs is part of your garden plan for the 2026 season, now is the time to get your order in.

We source our trees from Johnson’s nursery, who grows quality stock locally, so your trees are properly acclimated to our climate. Many trees need to be ordered by the end of February so that they can be prepared to be dug up and made ready for spring planting. The earlier you order, the more likely we are to get you exactly what you want this Spring.

We typically receive our tree orders from Johnson’s near the end of May, when we take the time to ensure that we have your tree and that it is in good condition. From there, our crews are working hard to get everything in the ground from late May through June. Our crews are trained on proper planting techniques, and we offer a planting nutrient package to set your new trees up for success.
